Since its opening in 1791, the Jacob has delighted guests with its breathtaking view of the Elbe River and the Port of Hamburg. Our history is marked by art and culture, especially because of the famous Linden Terrace. This enchanting place once served as a source of inspiration for the world-famous artist Max Liebermann. It was here that the impressionist created some of his most famous works, including the famous painting"The Terrace at the Jacob Restaurant in Nienstedten on the Elbe."
